The name BENTEN was inspired from a Goddess in the Japanese Seven Lucky Gods. She represents love, beauty and fine arts. She is the Queen of the Sea whose believe to bring luck and prosperity. BENTEN started early June 2007 to meet woman’s passions on beauty, arts and fashion. Proudly Indonesian made, created and designed to meet an International standard and manage to maintain its consistency. BENTEN products ranges are currently focused on evening gowns and cocktail dresses.

BENTEN’s dynamic-duo designers Lisa Daryono and Cecilia Yuda started humbly with passions, tastes, simple designs whilst understanding woman’s need and beauty. The Collaborations consist of designs, strategies as well as sustaining the comfort and quality of dresses to meet the market demand. BENTEN actively participating in many media field such as TV, social media, leading fashion-magazines, national and international fashion shows. The prominent work and collaboration with many great photographers, luxurious brand campaign and International Red carpet events has made BENTEN loveD by many artists, icons of celebrity also the upper class society.

Nominated by “CLEO” magazine as the young and talented new designer and therefore given a chance to showcase its collection at Jakarta Fashion week 2008; participated in Jakarta fashion week 2009 “Life in Technicolor”; Nominated by Australian Embassy in Jakarta for outstanding achievement in Design and Creativity at Australian Alumni Award 2010; participated in Hong Kong Fashion Week in 2010 “Lady Macaroon”; participated in Jakarta Fashion Week 2013 “Billet-Doux”; participated in Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Kuala Lumpur 2014 “Laurel Wreath”. BENTEN has Recently launched an exciting new line for kid’s couture/ party dress called CESA in Jakarta Kids Festival 2015.

Today, BENTEN have been traveling around Indonesia and also moving internationally towards Malaysia and Singapore and currently sustaining the wide distribution to National and International market.
